As the Plant Director, you will lead and direct the plant operations consistingof production,manufacturing engineering, human resources,materials, quality, production control, and the safety & environmental departments. You will ensure collaboration among cross-functional departments to achieve both the short term and long term goals.

In this role, you will be trusted to:
Oversee the daily production operations of the plant.
Lead operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring applicable regulatory requirements.
Lead the activities of all direct reports in the production of cost efficient quality products delivered on a timely basis.
Drive the execution of plans for world-class quality products and insures the appropriate level of accountability for identified goals and objectives at the management and supervisor levels.
Work with the operations management team to ensure appropriate process audits are conducted, and implemented identifying appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions, leading to minimizing costs.
Participate in direct reports’ and supervisors’ development in skills such as team building, communications, employee relations, leadership, process improvement, root cause analysis, planning, budgeting, etc.
Build and continually develop efficient and effective communications and interactions with functional leaders - marketing & sales, finance, product development and research, human resources, etc., and with other Business Units.
Analyze operations and establish critical metrics to ensure production efficiencies, cost reductions and quality improvement and implements appropriate metrics and facilitate usage throughout the entire operations staff.
Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
10 plus years in the manufacturing environment.
Familiar with multiple Operations related departments such as IT, Materials, Shipping, Production Control.
