Delivers consultative compensation support to the business and coordinates activities to ensure equitable pay practices. Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations using compensation techniques, methods and practices. Assists in the management and implementation of LII’s base pay structure, as well as salary planning, incentives and equity programs.
Acts as an internal compensation consultant to HR partners, as well as all levels of business leadership. Evaluates job content and makes pay recommendations based on market pay and internal pay equity. Conducts analysis on special projects regarding moderately complex compensation programs and presents recommendations to client facing HR and management. Investigates and recommends resolution on compensation compliance matters.
Manages the stock plan administration for the annual grant planning process and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Compile information and data for inclusion in the annual proxy statement. Maintain the proxy back-up documentation for the CD&A, tables, footnotes and shareholder proposals. Develop and prepare various presentation materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board. Prepare and analyze compensation information in response to regulatory requests. Act as primary point of contact for third-party vendors regarding long-term incentives.
Education & Experience
Requires a bachelor degree orequivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 5 years of compensation experience.
Degree inAccounting or Finance preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation a plus.
Possess project management experience in the area of human resource programs.
Demonstrated skills in the area of consulting and influencing, as well as strong verbal and written communications.
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills required, with exceptional logical thought processes and deductive reasoning ability.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to analyze data and create meaningful information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Access database skills a plus.
