This analyst is responsible for the most complex accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis of an organization's expenditures and initiatives.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for creating and maintaining forecasts and annual planning for the distribution network’s $65M expenses.
Provides financial support to business operations of 27 distribution centers and acts as the analytical engine to deliver insights that support optimal business decision making.
Supports the financial close process and cadence through reporting, accounting entries, and variance analysis.
Initiates process improvements and oversees the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operational support, and moderately complex modeling tools.
Operates autonomously as a financial subject matter expert within the firm and collaborates cross-functionally with all departments.
Prepares and publishes critical financial reporting to all levels of business leadership and presents at performance meetings.
Act as a direct liaison between business unit leadership and distribution field network on financial matters and decision making.
Displays high motivation, eagerness to learn, drives high quality results, and creates value added impacts to the business.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 2 years related experience with 5 years preferred.
Strong Excel skills (e.g., Building Macros, Power Pivots)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.
Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) preferred.
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
