Job Description

As a member of the Lennox machine/building maintenance team, you will proficiently perform repairs, adjustments and preventative maintenance to all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and finishes within a 300,000 square foot property.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts.

  • Diagnose and correct mechanical problems.

  • Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following pre-defined checklists.

  • Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment


  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.

  • Requires EPA HVAC certification.

  • Ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.

  • Knowledge of:

  • Machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.

  • Materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction/repair of buildings/other structures.

  • Design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, repair manuals, parts catalogs and models.

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions/approaches to problems.

  • Ability to use hand/power tools.

  • Ability to stoop, stand, climb, lift up to 50 pounds of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders).
