National Account Services (NAS) , wholly owned by Lennox International, a 100+ year old company and a world leader in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. NAS is a major, national player in the Commercial Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and service industry.
We have 80+ offices throughout the continental United States and are still growing and expanding. Under general supervision, develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of HVAC products and services in large national accounts.
Grows sales with a few target existing or prospective national accounts.
Selects the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
Insures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
Sets account and territory business plans on an multi-year, annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
Trains and coaches National Account Managers on sales of products or services.
After account relationships are properly established, the Business Developer ensures a smooth transition of account management to the appropriate Account Management parties.
This position will cover the East Coast markets. Ideal candidate will reside near a major metropolitan airport.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years B2B sales related experience with National Accounts
HVAC knowledge preferred
Travel Required- 70%
Has financial and business acumen.
Must be able to lead or participate in matrixed sales teams.
Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales processes.
Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Effective at written and verbal communication.
Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
